Landscape Photo

I decided to take this picture because I wanted to emphasize the use of the landscape mode. The picture came out well and I was happy with the results. 

Landscape versus Portrait

As you can see this picture mode was taken in Landscape. Nothing is focused on, and the background is as clear as the people in the photo. 

This picture was taken in portrait mode. The two people are the only things focused on and the background is blurred.  

Landscape mode would be better used when there is nothing you want to be focused on. For example, when you are taking a picture of a stadium, nothing is really focused on but the whole arena.

Depth of Focus

The mode dial setting that was used, was on portrait. I was pretty far away from Joel taking the picture. Everything in the background was blurred and my hand was the only thing that was focused on. Overall the picture is fine, but the way the picture was taken could've been better.
