This is my photo of the week because it highlights the patterns of nature. My camera was on portrait mode as you can see with the blur of the background. The leaves make this my favorite photo of the week because there is so much patterns in nature and we all need to start opening our eyes to it.

Favorite Photo Friday

I like this photo because my group is in it. My group is the friendliest people you'll ever meet and I connect with them instantly. This describes our relationship because Mary was being her usual goofy self, Joel always serious and me being 100% lost half the time. 

Perspective

Framing

Framing enhances a photo by making the subject stand out. The frame used here was not planned. I saw Joel through the holes of the gate and just then decided to take the picture.  This frame made the picture stand out because the subject, Joel, was the only thing in focus. There weren't really any drawbacks because the the hole made it easy for me to take the picture. 

Self Timer Self Portrait

Three tips I would recommend the photographer to do is to 

- smile

- not stay too far from the camera

- make sure the lighting is not too dark/bright 

Patterns

The picture of the stairs was my favorite becaause the pattern of the stairs make the picture come out better. Also, the pattern wasn't planned which makes it inorganic.
